David's Progress !

I know I have been scarce on the output, I ended up stumbling upon a font which was pretty much exactly what my final form was in my head. CHECK IT OUT And it is pretty awesome.

So as to not kick a dead horse with too many cartoon hairy fonts, I tried a new process (through illustrator) to cultivate new arrangement or ideas.

A few samples of the letters M, H, and B:

there are two versions of each, one being a mess, and the second a sort of controlled chaos that resembles moss or over growth.

  1. I vote "without shnibbles" because it isn't as messy as the original but not as illustrated as your example. Still gives a feeling of fuzziness without the mess or garish cartoon look.

  2. I think I agree, without shnibbles.

Also the font you found is uncanny, like someone copied your sketches… you've never been abducted, have you?

Anyway, your furry font will be an improvement on this I think!

  4. i suppose I dont want to end up creating one of those nasty halloween fonts, that someone would only use for a "scary" event. those ones are lame and kind of piss me off.
